BUMDC Students beat teachers in a cricket match!

KARACHI- Cricket is a popular sport that cements the bond between Pakistani people. On 4th March 2015, Cdre Raza Jafar, HoD Pathology Department at PNS Shifa, organized a friendly cricket match between the teaching faculty from PNS Shifa along with the medical and dental students from Bahria University Medical and Dental College (BUMDC).

The match was played on the PNS Shifa ground, where the 'STUDENTS XI' beat 'FACULTY XI' and bagged the winner’s trophy. Idrees Khan of 4th year MBBS received the Man-of-the-Match trophy and Usama Manzoor of final year MBBS and Captain of student’s team, got the Best-Batsman Trophy to his credit.

AnchorPlayers amongst the participating teachers also received trophies for Best Batsman and Best Fielder. The audience chanted slogans of victory as the students were acknowledged for their remarkable performance. Fellow students and teachers attended the match along with Director General - Vice Admiral Retd Tehseen Ullah Khan, Brig. Retd Prof. Dr. Shaheen Moin, Principal Medical Section and Dr. Zubair Ahmed Abbasi- Principal Dental Section, who boosted morale of the players and appreciated their efforts.-PR
