LAHORE: In a significant step towards improving public healthcare services, Primary and Secondary Healthcare Secretary Nadia Saqib has directed authorities to enhance service delivery at Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics. The initiative aims to ensure that quality healthcare is accessible at people’s doorsteps.

Speaking at a high-level conference of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and Medical Superintendents, the health secretary emphasized the importance of streamlining healthcare operations and improving service efficiency.

The conference focused on key healthcare priorities, including the Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics, the polio eradication campaign, the School Health & Nutrition Program, and the Lady Health Supervisors program.

Key Directives from the Health Secretary:

  • Enhanced Service Delivery: Public access to quality healthcare at Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics to be improved.
  • Digitization & Transparency: Healthcare data digitization and efficient reporting will be prioritized to improve decision-making and service monitoring.
  • Polio Eradication: All teams involved in the polio campaign will receive full support, with zero tolerance for negligence.
  • Quality Assessment: Strengthening the micro-planning process for polio eradication to ensure maximum effectiveness.
