Gusty winds are anticipated to blow over Karachi from February 2

KARACHI: According to the Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD), a spell of high winds is expected to approach Karachi on February 2 at a speed of 36 to 25 kilometres per hour.

PMD cautioned that winds are likely to blow into the city from the west, northwest, and south Balochistan directions. Winds might gust up to 54 kilometres per hour and are expected to persist until February 3. As a result, temperatures are forecasted to drop, and the air will become dusty.

Due to the weather warning, fishermen are urged to exercise caution when fishing due to the projected rise in sea level.
