ISLAMABAD: For the first time since January 19, Pakistan recorded a COVID-19 positive rate of less than 10 per cent.
On Tuesday morning, the National Command and Operation Centre's (NCOC) revealed these facts. Nevertheless, for the fourth consecutive day, the country's active case count remained above 100,000.
According to NCOC figures, the country's daily case count also decreased in the last 24 hours, with only 5,327 out of 55,202 diagnostic tests conducted nationwide returning positive.
Pakistan's COVID-19 positive rate decreased to 9.65 per cent due to this fall. Meanwhile, 32 additional COVID-19 deaths occurred, bringing Pakistan's COVID-19 death toll to 29,301.
