Minister urges health dept to fill all vacant posts

Karachi: Sindh Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has directed secretary health to immediately prepare a summary of all important posts, including that of additional secretary (Development), that are lying vacant in the health department.

He said that the summary should be submitted to Chief Minister Office at earliest so that eligible and competent officers may be posted on vacant posts for smooth running of official work.

Presiding over a meeting at his office, the minister said that delay in filling vacant important posts was not only affecting the official work, but was also causing delay in completing development works.

He also directed the officials of Information Science & Technology department to update the website of health department without any further delay.

At the outset, the minister urged the officials of health department to give special attention to projects relating to dengue, hepatitis, naegleria and vertical projects, besides launching comprehensive awareness campaigns about these programmes.
