CHK staffer caught while stealing x-ray films

KARACHI: The security staff of the Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) reportedly arrested a hospital staffer red-handed stealing x-ray films recently, and handed over him to the local police.

Security Guard, Ishtiaq Ahmed, caught a staffer along with x-ray films early in the morning and handed him over to the Eidgah police. Sources said that the arrested accused told the police that some more staffers were also involved in this matter.

Medical Superintendent, Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi, Dr Khadim Qureshi, confirmed that a hospital employee, Ansaar, working in night shift was also caught stealing x-ray films and handed over local police for further investigation.

He informed that two x-ray films had been recovered and the cost of films not more than Rs60000 to 70000.

He further said that an FIR had been lodged against the accused.
