Message from the Chairman 8th SAARC ENT Congress - Karachi

Dear Colleagues & Friends, It was a great honor for us to successfully conclude the 8TH Saarc ENT Congress, held on 19th – 21st December at Sheraton Hotel Karachi. Under the valuable guidance of the Saarc ENT Societies, the groundbreaking scientific program proved to be highly insightful as it introduced innovative new elements and technology to provide a lively and pleasant learning experience. For those seeking to expand their knowledge of the field and learn about the most up-to-date advancements and discoveries, the 8TH Saarc ENT 2013 Congress was an elightening experience. We also enriched the programme with some special tours and social entertainment and interaction  programs, which engaged the participants and their families with the wonderful taste of our hospitality, a unique culture and social values, throughout the Congress, and cherished memories for life. We were brimming with a commitment to make it the most unforgettable experience for our guests.

As the Chairman of this congress, I hereby extend my heartiest thanks to the distinguished scientists who participated in the Congress and made this event a truly enlightening event. They shared their precious views and experiences, about the latest developments on topics of great interest for us all. Each participant appreciated this opportunity to interact and learn with some experts and speakers, who discussed their ideas and knowledge with researchers and clinicians of international scientific reputation.
State-of-the-art information was provided through lectures, plenary sessions and presentations from recent research by experts in the field, along with the opportunity to take part in hands-on experience through various sessions and workshops. Similar to the previous SAARC ENT events, the 8th Saarc ENT Congress 2013 also brought the key stakeholders together to share the common goal of advancing and developing the field of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, with tremendous support from the Pakistan Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (PSORL). The organizing committee delivered the most dynamic and invigorating congress to all of you. We are filled with great excitement and appreciation for creating this unforgettable Congress. It is our sincerest hope that this series of SAARC ENT Congresses will continue to bring all of us together in future too, where we can collectively pursue our common goals and individual aspirations to achieve new milestones in the field of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
